A South Side Chicago  man was charged with public indecency for allegedly fondling himself at a Near North Side Starbucks Thursday afternoon.

Hector Quinones blew away 24-year-old Carlos Rodriguez Jr.,  Carlos Rodriguez Sr., 52, and then fatally stabbed  Fernando Gonzalez, 87, to death before the elder Rodriguez’s wife and adult daughter unknowingly walked into the New York apartment they all shared.

Teenage girl accidentally ran over and killed her 17 year old brother as the two played around in Mesa Arizona parking lot.

Dwight J. Brock Jr. was run over by his sister as 16 year old Nicole M. Brock, both residents of Mesa. They started playing around, with the brother jumping in front of the car and the sister slamming on the brakes  in a game of chicken with predictable results.

Dwight was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

Virginia Beach police arrested Jorge Alberto Fuertes Loredo and Isidor Loredo Amaya  after Florentino Martinez-Melendez, 40, was shot to death. A second victim survived the shooting but remains in critical condition in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mauricio Escalante, 33-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested Saturday for stabbing to death a 17-year-old on the streets of Immokalee Florida.

Juan Lopez-Perez, 31, an illegal immigrant who drove away after hitting a toddler in a Salem Oregon parking lot has been sentenced to one year and five months in prison.

Dan O’Bannon, screenwriter who was best known for writing the 1979 blockbuster “Alien” and who also directed and wrote  “The Return of the Living Dead,” and co-wrote “Blue Thunder” and “Total Recall,” has died.

He died Thursday at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica after a thirty year battle with Crohn’s disease, said his wife, Diane.

Ramon Alvarado, 33, and his cousin, Jose Alvarado, 37, were hired to do yard work for Lila Meizel at her home in Wheaton, Md. They worked for the woman for two years, and Meizel often gave the men soda, food and extra tips.

A woman was struck and killed by a Caltrain in Mountain View California today in what Officials said was a suicide.

The woman, whose name has not been released, layed down on the tracks less than a half-mile north of the San Antonio station about 10:30 A.M. and was hit by a southbound train.
