Microsoft warned that IE 6 and 7 are vulnerable to yet another zero day exploit.  With support ending for IE 6 a few days ago, Microsoft is urging those effected upgrade to IE 8. Those there are a plethora of other browsers such as Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari

Cisco unviels new router that can do 322tbs

CRS-3 can handle up to 322 terabits per second, or transmit the entire library of congress in 1 second. The new router will be out by Q3, and cost starts at 90,000 dollars USD.

Chevron to cut 2000 jobs

Chevron Corporation will cut 2,000 jobs this year and liquidate some overseas operations as it revamps its refinery, marketing and transportation operations.

Chevron has  approximately 60,000 employees worldwide, including about 17,000 in downstream operations that include refining, marketing and retail operations. Chevron laid off 1,900 employees in downstream operations last year.
