The Obama Administration has been anti-civil rights and has done everything in its power to strip law-abiding Americans access to exercise their Second Amendment rights.  One way the Obama Administration has done so is by needless spending for ammunition purchases by Federal Agencies, including the Depart of Social Security, and the Department of Education
As the public learned in a House committee hearing this week, the Department of Homeland Security has two years worth of ammo on hand and allots nearly 1,000 more rounds of ammunition for DHS officers than is used on average by our Army officers in active Warzones”

Inhofe said. “The AMMO Act of 2013 will enforce transparency and accountability of federal agencies’ ammunition supply while also protecting law-abiding citizens access to these resources.”

The AMMO Act would also give the Government Accountability Office (GAO) the task ro audit federal agencies purchases of ammunition.

It was learned that DHS already had 2 years of ammunition on hand before it made a 750 million round purchase last year.
