U.K. wins “Worlds Ugliest Dog”
Competing for fame, $1,000 and a year’s supply of dog treats, a British dog named Mugly a Chinese crested won the honour of World’s Ugliest Dog on Friday in Northern California.
The 8-year-old rescue dog from the United Kingdom additional prizes include a photo shoot and will receive a VIP stay at the local Sheraton in California.
Mugly was named Britain’s ugliest dog in 2005
The contest was held at Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in California. The popularity of the contest is such that reporters and camera crews from around the world traveling to Petaluma, about 40 miles north of San Francisco.
Still no cure of cancer.
