Google Censorship

Traditionally you think of censorship from places like Iran, China, or Cuba. Places known for their anti-free speech and hatred towards being criticized, but a search engine?

Google has been silently for years compiling with DCMA take downs for content that copyright owners claim is there’s, this includes things such as torrents, but sites that may be critical to copyright holders as well, but from Western democracies, including the United States.

Recently Google launched a website to show you who is asking Google to take items down.  Not suprisingly, Google did not comply with all requests.
