Man commits suicide after police chase — Albuquerque,New Mexico

A short police chase in Albuquerque New Mexico ended with the death of the suspect. of an apparent suicide.

State police say they stopped a driver for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and an officers noticed a handgun and several opened bottles of alcohol inside. The driver took off and led them on a chase that ended a few short miles later near Montano and Taylor Ranch. When Police  approached the car, they found the driver had committed suicide via shot to the head.
