Mounting the CD-ROM in Linux

Root permissions are required to perform this task. Procedure

To mount the CD-ROM on Linux:

1. Log in as a user with root authority.
2. REPLACE the CD-ROM in the drive
3. enter the following command  mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /cdrom
