13 states are suing the Federal Goverment over Health care

Attorneys general from Alabama, , Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Utah, Pennsylvania, , South Carolina, South Dakota, Louisiana, Idaho, Washington and Colorado are joining in.

Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna said “the bill unconstitutionally imposes new requirements on our state and on its citizens” and that the federal mandate requiring all Americans to buy health insurance violates the Commerce Clause and the 10th amendment.

Democrats pass Healthcare and guarantee Republican rule

With nearly 70 percent of the nation against the Healthcare bill, the Democrats voted into law, the Healthcare bill, and with it, all but guaranteed Republican’s seats in the next set of elections.

With some Democrats and many Republicans, an executive order banning Federal Funds to go for abortions, yet an Executive order can easily be overturned both through litigation or at the whim of the President.

New Arizona immgration bill gets tough on Illegal Aliens

Proposed bills SB 1070 and HB 2632 won approval in the Arizona Senate, and is awaiting a full vote in the House. The bill, sponsored by Rep. David Gowa and Sen. Russell Pearce would take steps to enforce Immigration laws, as the Federal Government does nothing to stem the tide of illegal aliens flowing into the country.

NZ wanting to be just like AU filters the internet

The Department of Internal Affairs’ (DIA) internet filter is now operational and is being used by internet providers (ISPs) Maxnet and Watchdog. Thomas Beagle, spokesperson for online freedom lobby Tech Liberty says he’s “very disappointed that the filter is now running, it’s a sad day for the New Zealand internet”.

China blames video games for teen pregnacy, drug abuse and crime

China Central Television (CCTV) reported on a Beijing juvenile prison where one man was serving a life sentence for murders he committed to obtain virtual equipment in an online game. The report stated that up to 80 percent of the violent criminals in the prison turned to crime because of online games.

A Chinese court sentenced 11 members of a cyber-gang for creating and distributing viruses meant to steal online game account passwords, according to Chinese State Media

Feds mined Sprint GPS Data over 8 million times in one year

“Friday evening, in a motion to dismiss Jewel v. NSA, EFF’s litigation against the National Security Agency for the warrant-less wiretapping of countless Americans, the Obama Administration’s made two deeply troubling arguments.

First, they argued, exactly as the Bush Administration did on countless occasions, that the state secrets privilege requires the court to dismiss the issue out of hand. Obama Administration renames the War on Terror

The Obama administration trying not to re brand everything to make failed polices seem new , and appear less threatening has re-branded “The War on Terror” and “terrorism,”  to “man-caused” disasters.   Next up, illegal immigrants to be re-branded “non compliant foreign resident” and convicted felon to ” certified civilly challenged” Lou Dobbs head set to explode.

Alabama Legislator wants to castrate sex offenders

“A legislator in Alabama has filed a bill that would require the state surgically to castrate convicted child molesters before releasing them from prison. The bill, sponsored by Democratic Representative Steve Hurst of Mumford, also says the offender must pay the cost of the surgery.” —Source The Guardian
