Deere & Co lays off 1100 workers

A decline sales revenue  for its agricultural products, Deere & Co. today announced it was laying off more than 500 workers at Iowa location. Just last week Deere & Company announced they where laying off 500 workers from four of their other U.S. locations. The decision has an affect employees at John Deere Harvester Works in Moline; John Deere Seeding and Cylinder in Moline; John Deere Des Moines Works in Ankeny, Iowa; and John Deere Coffeyville in Coffeyville, Kan. Turner Networks Layoffs ahead

In what is no surprise by anyone working for a Turner Company, such as CNN, Turner Networks CEO John Martin told staffers in an email that the company will restructure itself in the next couple of months, via email.  The Memo, called Turners 2020 plan, is a vague single paged double spaced standard form that boils down to the company, in recent years has losses significant ad revenue.  Some staff would blame the internet, others would blame middle management downward spiral of hiring continually liberal overly biased news anchors with all the intelligence of a box of corn flakes.  Many …

238,000 Small Businesses failed between 2008 – 2010

238000 Small Businesses failed under Obama

Cenus data shows 223.800 small businesses failed during 2008 to 2010. This represents a loss of 238,841 businesses and nearly 3.5 million jobs. While a definitive figure on how many small businesses closed during the recession is hard to come by as the definition of “small business is very broad based. The recession technically started in December 2007 and ended in June 2009.  Census data only counts the number of new businesses starting in March of each year.
