Toshiba rolls out 512 Gig Solid State Drives

Toshiba Corp has started to mass production on solid state drives (SSDs) with 512GB capacity. The drives are currently only available inside Toshiba’s own notebook and the company has reduced originally declared performance figures.

GM builds a Segway 2.0

Detroit based auto giant General Motors (GM) and Segway have partnered to create the next generation of personal transportation, the PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility Project)

The Puma much like the original Segway is a cool blend of technology and engineering, and fills a role that has yet to be determined. 

The GM Segway PUMA  is a two seater, comes with a networked version of GM's onstar service that can track and locate other Onstar enabled vehicles, can travel at 35 MPH for 35 miles, is completely electric and recharges for about 30 cents.
