Dixie Carter dead at age 70

Dixie Carter had a long career as an actress and cabaret singer.  Her signature role was as the opinionated star of "Designing Women," which focused on four women running an interior design firm in Atlanta. The show ran from 1986 to 1993.

Dixie Carter is survived by daughters Mary Dixie and Ginna and a sister, Melba Helen Heath. She was divorced from Arthur Carter and actor George Hearn

The Obama administration's "Presidential Assassination Program," whereby American citizens are targeted for killings no matter where they are, based exclusively on unchecked accusations by the Executive Branch that they're involved in Terrorism.

Six Illegal Aliens gang rape woman in Virgina

--Waldorf, Virginia Six illegal aliens are charged with holding a woman against her will overnight and gang raping her, Police officials said.

One of the men first met the 30-year-old Alexandria woman Monday night at an Alexandria nightclub, authorities reported. He offered to drive her home, and when she got to his car, there were several other men inside the vechicle.

Appeals court rules FCC has no authority

A US federal appeals court has ruled that the FCC doesn't have the authority to force broadband providers to treat all internet traffic equally, and that blocking or slowing certain services, such as  BitTorrrent . The ruling basicly says the FCC that it has no authority to regulate the activities of internet service providers, just as the agency prepares to launch a nationwide broadband agenda.
